Note: In 3dsMax you just create a bitmap of desired scale and the same image can be used in different maps or you can even use in different material. If i want to scale the image once and use multiple times in same material or in multiple material, what is the best way to do it?

Question : Is there any way i can use the already scaled image map for displacement or bump maps ? File format: JPG Textures size px 3400 x 34x1024 for free account. The only way i assume i can do it, is by clicking the displacement map icon under the created material and add the same image… But now the displacement map gets applied in a different scale… Keep in mind that lighter areas for VRay mean it’s a ‘rise’ and darker areas are ‘dips’ so make. I want to apply the same image for displacement map. To create a Displacement Map, you need to take a good look at your texture and picture where the ‘rises’ and ‘dips’ are if this would be a real-life material. Now, sketchup creates a material automatically with that image as a diffuse image. To apply your texture in a uniform way, select all the surfaces that share the texture and then select the Object Properties display. Currenctly Coohom do not support Vray material of SU models. The reflection of the default SU material cannot be edit in both Sketchup or Coohom, therefore the material will have strong reflection in Coohom. So, I applied an image to a rectangle using Import option under the File tab, so that i can scale the image to the size i want.
